Training Area

RAM’s Training Centre has just been completely rebuilt with state-of-the-art steelwork, with 3 separate steel structures featuring 2 platforms, a cellphone tower with realistic antennas for exercises and structural I-Beams on the ceiling..

It is a dynamic, tall 3D environment with vertical and horizontal structural I-Beams filled with well-planned anchored ropes systems, deviations, re-anchors, aid climbing and hauling options.

RAM’s Training Centre is constantly evolving based on the feedback of our Instructors, Assessors, Evaluators and, more importantly, Trainees.

Our Training Centre features fully dedicated equipment. We provide all equipment for trainees registered, following proper equipment inspection, cleaning, storage and traceability procedures.

A variety of equipment from different manufacturers is available, including harnesses, helmets, ascenders, descenders, back-up devices, foot loops, positioning lanyards, pulleys, rope clamps, beam clamps , fabric and steel slings, carabiners, comfort seats, rope protection devices and rigging plates.

With a capacity for 16 trainees, this is the place where angles, loads, forces, vectors, legislation, compliance and general rope access theory is safely discussed separately from the training area.

Kitchen and welfare facilities

In addition to a dedicated washroom, there is a kitchen and lounge area to store, heat up and eat meals and drinks is available for all trainees to enjoy should they want to bring food and drinks from home. We always supply water and coffee to keep everyone hydrated and energized to meet the challenging demands of rope access training.
